We will crawl and analyse your website with a number of tools, including (but not limited to) Sitebulb, ahrefs, and Screaming Frog, to establish any technical issues that might be impacting your search visibility. We will also manually review your site content, in line with Google guidelines, from a content quality perspective. The guidelines set out basic principles, and warn against specific practices. We will check your site to make sure there are no violations, and give you recommendations on how things can be improved.
We will also make sure your images are optimised for size and dimensions, named correctly, and where appropriate contain helpful EXIF data. EXIF data can contain useful information which not only helps Google understand your pictures, but also can help to improve your local SEO ranking by containing the geo location of your business, and making sure they are named correctly, and have relevant “alt text” attached.
